Leopard Frog Lair

By: Team Camp-bell Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I'm visiting from California at a nearby business to observe production. Thanks for a close cache to feed the habit!

Arkham Travel Bug Insane Asylum

By: ClanMcMahon & Doctor Dolittle Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not Chosen

I'm in town from California for work, and walked accross the street during a break for a quick find. It was a bit strange to see the cache just laying on the ground in the open, but I suppose that once the plants start growing, it will be hidden better. TFTC!

North Trinity Lutheran

By: Doctor Dolittle Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Visiting the area from California. I had some free time to do a little geo-exploring, and happened upon your cache. It's fun to just let the arrow point the way! TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Red Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I'm visiting from CA for work. With a PQ of just traditionals, this area looked like a good cluster. After opening this cache, I realized that bonus puzzle caches were within reach. A few spots in the park were damp, and near GZ here was the worst, but I had my boots, so no worries. TFTC!

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Green Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Making the loop. I'll bet these caches are A LOT more difficult in the summer with full folliage and bugs. Nice park for a walk. TFTC!

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Orange Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I could hear several woodpeckers near this cache, but couldn't spot them. I also crossed paths with a fellow who was birdwatching. He seemed pretty intent, so I didn't ask if I could borrow his binoculars. TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Blue Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I got nervous after seeing a sign pointing out poison ivy near this cache. I'm not really familiar with it, but I have had several encounters with its California cousin, the dreaded poison oak. If poison ivy is anything like poison oak, then it's just bare branches right now which are more difficult to spot. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Purple Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I enjoyed the walk to this cache. There were lots of new plants poking their leaves out of the forest leaf litter. It was very quiet and calm in the middle of the park too. TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – Yellow Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

There were lots of brokendown sheds or coops on the way to this cache. I was really curious about their purpose. TFTC.

ToO-Highland Woods

By: Treasures of Oz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I'm visiting from California. Highland Woods is a very nice park. Thanks for pointing it out to me. TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – White Key

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Large

A fun find! I bushwhacked a little to get here, but quickly discovered the trail on the way out (of course!). After signing the log on this cache, I thought I was done, but lo and behold, there was more! TFTC.

CC’s Rainbow Shape Sorter – The End of the Rainbow

By: sipafz - CC & Jack Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

Great series, with more than I bargained for. I love it how geocaching often turns out like that! What a nice spring day to be out and about. TFTC!

WSQ Forgotten

By: GR8 EYES Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Visiting from California, and letting the arrow be my guide. Yes, forlorn, but still interesting. Thanks for bringing me here!

Garrison Glen

By: GR8 EYES and AuntieNae Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I was hoping to see an eagle, but I guess it's too late in the year? Nice park. Thanks!

Eagle Launch

By: GR8 EYES and AuntieNae Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I signed the little slip of a log. The water seems high and fast right now. TFTC.

Thank You!

By: GR8 EYES and AuntieNae Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Ummm...definitely not a T=1.5 right now. The widget said 150', and I was on the edge of a pool of standing water. Detouring to the east, I was able to find a couple of fallen logs that helped me reach the southern bank. From there it was easier, but I did feel uncomfortably close to the neighbor's trailer. I suppose summer foliage would solve that. Thanks for the unexpected course obstacle!

Grafton Lime Kilns

By: Zemmy with lostby7 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not Chosen

I'm visiting from California, and letting the arrow be my guide. This was a very interesting place, and I appreciated learning about the geology and history of the area. Thanks!

Another Dog-gone Cache #4

By: WagginTails & Geo-dog Hannah Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

A quick stop while wandering by. TFTC.

The Right Way to Kirchhayn 2

By: mandorj Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

Found it wandering by. I like the Wisconsin countryside. TFTC.

South Center School

By: LDove Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I found it while wandering the Wisconsin countryside. Thanks for the history lesson and TFTC.

WSQ Our Savior

By: GR8 EYES Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Pretty countryside church. My route to the cache took me past the infant section of the cemetery. Sad. TFTC.

Clock Tower Plaza

By: Ecorangers: Earth Angel, Duelist, Princess Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Visiting from California, and letting the arrow be my guide. No snow today, but the access road looked like it has seen plenty over the years. TFTC.

FCC visits Beverly

By: KeddyKlan Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

In the area for business, and counting down on a significant milestone, "Go for the oldie" is my motto. Thanks for marking the trailhead! A pretty lake. The men lingering around the parking lot were a bit too friendly for my tastes though. Heh! TFTC.

Blammo!

By: Agent0013 Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Yep! Beverly was my objective as well. Thanks for providing the breadcrumbs and for a very nicely done hide!

Little Diversion

By: geckl69 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

...4997...4998...4999...not a little diversion at all. In fact, an essential stepping stone to a big milestone at a nearly 11 year old cache. Thanks!

Beverly

By: Robert Reindl Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

#5000 One of my mottos is "When in doubt, go for the oldie", and this one certainly didn't disappoint! Thanks for a great hike on a picture perfect spring afternoon. It's amazing that Beverly has been around for just 10 days short of 11 years. From LPCs to power trails to lonely caches visited just once a year, it seems I've tried just about every type of caching, but still my favorite is the ammo cache in the woods. Thanks for the adventure and for the perfect milestone cache!

Who are you calling more difficult? (Part 2)

By: Siamese Retriever Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

Making the loop on a beautiful spring day. Thank goodness for no snow!

Ilsa's High Meadow Cache

By: cemx86 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This was a very pretty spot, and a bit of a suprise discovery. Thanks for bringing me here. After finding the chain from the previous cache, I was a bit confused, but widening my search radius brought sucess. TFTC!

High Above Beverley - West

By: maleki Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I missed the turn-off for this cache on the way in, but was glad I diverted on the way back. Thanks for the views and the climb!

Around the Bend

By: OLDOVAL Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

First find of the year! We were staying at the SUU cabin for a family reunion, so this cache was pretty close. I was thankful for the southern exposure since all of the snow had melted, and it was a quick discovery. Unfortunately, we found it with the lid off and half full of water. I cleaned things up as best as I could, and added a new log sheet since the spiral bound one was completely soaked. What incredible views along the road! Thanks for bringing me here, and TFTC!

Here fishy, fishy, fishy

By: Jonny13bravo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

First visit of the year! Staying at the SUU cabin for a family reunion, this was the closest cache. I was wishing I'd taken the time to put on the snowshoes since I postholed a bit on the way up. Fortunately the immediate vicinity of the cache was completely clear of snow, and I made a quick find. Very nicely done on the camouflage! The entire park area was riddled with snow caves. On the way down, I managed to step on one, and had a bit of a start as it collapsed. The receding snow has revealed the dross left over from winter camping. I collected 4 bungee cords, a hammer, and a shovel, as well as CITOing a bunch of trash. TFTC.

St. George West Black Ridge

By: Astounding and AlAndaluz, Astounding and Percible Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

We're visiting from CA for spring break, and noticed this area after going for a couple of caches to the south of the saddle. Great views, and a fun challenge to summit! Much to our suprise, there was a couple of kids up on top trying to fly a kite...unfortunately for them, the wind was just not strong or consistent enough. There were plenty of wildflowers blooming, although we were a couple of weeks too early for cactus flowers, which should be spectacular. TFTC!

Pioneer Pockets

By: st.georgejuniors Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

Visiting from CA for spring break, we came to walk the crack and play on the rocks. This one was a little tricky with just the iphone widget, but eventually I realized that I was standing on the hidey hole. In the process we discovered a bit wider crack that the entire group could enjoy. Thanks for getting us out, and TFTC!

This Really Takes The Cake

By: GC Addicted Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Visiting from CA for spring break, we came to walk the crack and play on the rocks. It was a fantastic day to explore, and I loved the contrast of the bright green grass against the red sandstone. TFTC!

Cherished Emblem of us all

By: Bryan, Dewey, Nate, and Dan (202 boys) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

We're visiting from CA for spring break. It was great to see a new cache up at the D! We usually make a trek up since home base while we're in town is just below. It looks like things have been freshly painted. That must be quite a chore! It took a bit of scrambling around to find the cache, but coordinates were good, and we had the container in hand fairly quickly. As we were leaving, my 11 year-old son spotted a camera on the ground. After contacting the cache owner, I'm hopeful the owner can be located. It seems that it belonged to someone who was involved in the whitewashing project. TFTC!

Jaidyn's gateway to great caches

By: Stevens8 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

Hi Jaidyn! Thanks for showing us a great spot. We're visiting from CA for spring break. That big hole just down from the cache had us puzzled. I wonder what it was supposed to be? TFTC!

Snow Canyon State Park

Gateway to the Peninsula

By: caccbag Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

A quick stop on my trek back to the east side. Thanks for the lunchtime diversion. Plenty more to do!

No Dogs Allowed

By: caccbag Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Got it. Several people were breaking the rules. TFTC.

MegaMind Field

By: caccbag Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I got a little dizzy arriving at the correct elevation, but after that things smoothed out. Great views! TFTC.

Gateway to the Peninsula #2

By: caccbag Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Coordinates are off. The day laborers outside the paint store hoping for a job didn't help my cause either. I was able to make the grab, but had to circle around to the front to return the cache, using the sign for cover! TFTC.

Presidents' Street Serie #1 - George Washington

By: caccbag Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I felt pretty conspicuous with several people walking by, but pushed on. The discovery of a used doggie bag in the bush stopped me for a minute though. Yuck. TFTC, though.

Presidents' Street Serie #14 - Franklin Pierce

By: caccbag Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I finished my in-n-out on the way to GZ. Thanks for the desert!

Adams Patrol

By: Team Vaccine Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Found on a lunchtime sweep, this was a place I wasn't aware of, even though I've cached all around the area many times. Thanks!

Jinx

By: city.girl Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I'm not sure why this cache is called Jinx, but I felt a bit that way while on approach. I spent some time looking for an access point closer than the Arguello entrance but couldn't find any. After giving up and going back there, I saw on the park map that there was indeed an easment about 0.15 mi from cache, and I'd driven right by it! The route I took wasn't muddy at all, but some other hikers told me there was a mudslide across the trail further down by the creek. TFTC.

Sneath Lane Trailhead

By: Baron88 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I've been here before. The climb to the ridge is a good one! Love those views too. Today it was a quick in and out before heading home. No rain for the brief visit, too! TFTC.

Fawn's Awesome Birthday Cache

By: hollynstephen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I dodged the rain showers, but managed to get wet brushing up against the leaves! Thanks for the hunt!
