Last Stop Before SFO

By: Zigity Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Quiet after work, but I suspect that it would be next to impossible at lunchtime. Thanks for placing a nice big cache! Nothing to drop, so I didn't take a TB. TFTC.

Seagull Island Redux

By: Sue & Barry Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Visiting from California for a conference. I took a walk on the beach in my dress clothes to find this cache about 18 inches above the sand. High tide had just receded, and it was evident that the water had washed up the beach beyond GZ. Hurricane surge perhaps? The log was soaked, but I aired it out and the rite-in-the-rain was good to go. TFTC!

"Under The Boardwalk"

By: Sue & Barry Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Visiting from California for a conference. All quiet on the sand, but it was fun to hear everyone walking right above! Now I can say that I've cached in New Jersey. TFTC.

Out with my boys for a little caching. They remembered the puzzle that used to be here. TFTC.

Which way to China?

By: gopogo120 and bpaxton5 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I approached thinking 'Naw it couldn't be there...', but it was! TFTC.

Pebbles

By: gopogo120 Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

D3 and all those stones had me thinking something much more evil. Thanks for going easy on me!

A Senior Moment

By: carolehu Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Whoa! This could have been much worse than it turned out to be. A nano hidden in ivy? Now that would have been mean. Fortunately my eye was drawn to the spot. Thanks for the mental handrail!

Altoids revisited

By: the voucher Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Finished up my cache business just as the AT & T guy arrived. He had the switch box open and was fully engaged. My timing was good! TFTC.

Limerick #1 - "Hanging Chad"

By: thegirlsfromPA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

A tough one for me to return...fat-fingered and all. How in the heck did you get that attachment device in there?!? So intent on my task, a jogger zipped by before I knew what had happened. I must have looked pretty silly! TFTC.

Noodles

By: the voucher Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I prefer the burritos. TFTC!

The Splintered Cache

By: andrewclan Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I had to wait out a family coming home. Fortunately Mom was a bit distracted herding her kids into the house. TFTC.

Kirby Tree

By: Clandersen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

A tough one with traffic coming from all directions! The traffic cop was making his rounds, but didn't give me a second glance. TFTC.

Aloha!

By: Marlyn5 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I felt like I was in someone's back yard. Guess not though. The container brought a smile to my face. I enjoyed the views! TFTC.

Windy City

By: guessjess123 and gopogo120 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I used to live in Chicago. Definitely windier here. Several neighbors gave me a second look; early evening is a difficult time to hunt for a cache on this quiet cul de sac. TFTC!

A quick find on our way back from camping at the beach. TFTC!

Sunset Bonus

By: HMB Lipripper Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

Oh, no. Sombody sitting at GZ. Fortunately they got up and left just as we arrived. After making quick work of the cache, we walked over to watch the surfers for a bit. Not sunset by a long shot, but still a very nice path! TFTC.

Gaffing

By: donnie985 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

A pleasant little stroll down to the edge of the beach. Knew pretty much where we were headed from a ways off, but chose to follow the little side trail that eventually meandered around to GZ. Thanks.

BedRock!

By: SPnZnH Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

This was a nice hike in a park we didn't know about. Thanks for pointing the way! We made it to the quarry quickly, but realized that our objective was still out of reach. After huffing and puffing up a deserted trail, we arrived at GZ to discover a couple of groups enjoying the view. One lady was from Kentucky and seemed really interested in geocaching. Eventually we made the find...weathering over the years has made your clue a bit more obscure than it probably was at time of placement. TFTC.

High School Teacher Hideout

By: rachelsf and bex Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

The area looked familiar, and I realized upon arriving that I had been here before to find a cache that marked the unusual house accross the street. I was a bit worried about locating the cache since it appears that the vegetation has recently been mowed down, but there it was, safe and sound. TFTC.
