Tour de Foster City

By: jimbexleyspeed Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I was able to convince mrs303 that this cache was a good date night activity. She drove and I navigated, and we both enjoyed the teamwork. Finding the final just after sunset, we took in the views and watched a few planes come over. Thanks for a fun puzzle and a cheap date!

By: Olivia Noelle Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Regular

This was a very interesting hike! That's an impressive bit of construction, and I was really glad I didn't encounter anyone else during my ascent. I did the hike as the owner intended, but I wish I'd traversed the loop in the opposite direction. The view from GZ was truly one to remember! TFTC.

Jack's Cache

By: Olivia Noelle Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Upon arriving, I recognized this spot from a previous visit. A pleasant spot to take a break, but the solitude was interrupted a bit by the sounds of construction from below. There's a letterbox hidden here as well. Thanks for the replacement cache!

A Little Birdie Told Me So

By: Olivia Noelle Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

What a fun container! I felt little silly when I finally spotted it. I must confess that I was looking a bit further into the camouflage (...with my hands clasped firmly behind my back, and a bit of curse on my lips...) TFTC.

Daffodil Canyon

By: crawburr Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

No daffodils today, just thistles that have gone to seed and a field full of cabbage! TFTC.

Bridge to Rancho Corral de Tierra

By: crawburr Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I'm glad this property has been saved from development. Looking forward to futher exploration in the years to come! TFTC.

By: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

Pacific Lookout

By: Mike ~n~ Vic Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I love the unique cache camouflage and the location. What fantastic views! On the hike in I passed a lot of wild flowers. Wonderful. Thanks for the cache.

A Bend in the Road

By: passport11 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

One last grab after taking the scenic route home from work! TFTC.

"Find Me"

By: Bob & Elliecat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Heh! Good one. Took me a good 15 minutes of diligent searching until the light bulb finally went on. TFTC.

Water Dog Lake

By: kanchan Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I took the shorter route, and was really glad that the trail was dry! At my height, ducking under those fallen trees slowed me down a little too. By the time I arrived at GZ, the sun had set and I needed a flashlight to spot the cache. Thanks.

Belmont Creek

By: kanchan Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I've wandered down this path once before. The first time I was really hoping it might end up someplace interesting instead of just petering out. Thanks for another cache in a great park!

All Vehicles Must Stop Here

By: UnixGal (aka estemmer) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I think this is the 4th cache I've found along this stretch over the years. Unfortunately, they don't seem to last in this spot. Thanks for giving it a try though!

Big Bay View

By: Ben Loudermilk Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

I walked over the half mile from the animal shelter, enjoying the late afternoon sun and views. Thanks for the cache and the walk!

C's the Moment!

By: MrsAquaholic & Cebear Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Quick pick-up on the way home from work tonight. Very pleasant walk along the bay trail! TFTC.

The Belmont Rumbler

By: GeoAML Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I didn't have the updated coordinates, which caused some confusion, but before I started searching in earnest the tell-tail noise redirected my attention. After that, geosense took over and I had the cache in hand shortly. I love caches that point out mysterious things like this!

Central Attention

By: 4HGeocachersSC Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

All quiet on a Sunday night. Parked within 20', and was in and out in less than a minute. It could have been much more difficult in this busy spot! TFTC.

Greatest Story Ever Told

By: 300cdturbo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Plenty busy on a Sunday night. We just went ahead with our work even though folks were sitting at the tables right inside the windows. If anything looked out of the ordinary to them, they didn't let on. TFTC.

Roosevelt "Island" Park

By: Mrs Camper and Camper03 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

All quiet on a Sunday night. Tricky hide, but we perservered and had it in hand after a few minutes. Not even a bench in this park...TFTC.

Not too Heavy

By: gopogo120 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Looking across the way, we spotted the type of sign we were expecting to find. Only problem was the widget was pointing somewhere else. Oh, wait a second...TFTC.

Playhouse

By: gopogo120 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Driving by, we spotted a couple of people at this cache site. It turns out they were the cache owners on a maintainance check. Nice to meet you! Thanks for sponsoring this evening's entertainment.

An easy A

By: gopogo120 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Wow! It hit me right between the eyes! The log sheet is full. TFTC.

The big bad water tanks

By: gopogo120 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Beautiful weather for an evening cache run. All four of us had to get out and search before the container was located, and based upon the hint we were expecting something magnetically attached. TFTC.

Bear Valley

By: punchman1 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

A fun little bushwhack to a very pretty overlook. We approached from the upper side which made things a bit easier, although there was a fence to cross. Thanks for bringing us here and for pointing out the view.

E.T. Astroid!

By: Clay4 & whtwolfden Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Day two of our family trip from CA to UT taking the remote highway route. With Cedar City as tonight's objective, we drove by plenty of caches today, probably more than we ever will again, stopping only occasionally. Noticing the sign that said the next gas was over 100 miles away made us feel just a tad isolated! TFTC.

E.T. 355

By: Clay4 & whtwolfden Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Ordered lunch and then took a stroll while waiting for the food. Thanks for the quick diversion.

Pahroc Yo Mama

By: Baad Daata Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

Along our way between Tonopah and Cedar City. I couldn't decide if this area was man-made or not. It seemed a bit too organized to be natural, but yet there wasn't any evidence of a road or other disturbance. Strange. The cache was tough to find, but we were aided by a subtle cairn. Thanks for the handrail! ...and the cache.

Area 51 Black Mailbox

By: aknatn Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Just a whole lotta nothing out here. I wonder what kind of mail gets dropped in the alien's box?!? TFTC.

Sand Spring Valley T.B. INN

By: nvtriker Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Quite a bit warmer since we've come down in elevation from Tonopah this morning. Exactly 3 cars have passed us since we turned onto ET Hiway. Amazing! Love the wide open views. I had a coin somewhere in the car, but couldn't find it so TNLN. Thanks.

In memory of Sgt. Stevenson

By: trentonj Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

A nice little hike and a wide open view. Lovely! Thanks for bringing us here.

WELCOME TO PANACA

By: imapackrat Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

We found this cache after a quick visit with a high school friend of mrs303's. Her: 'You know, my old friend lives in Panaca, we haven't talked in 10 years, and I'd like to see her'. Me: 'How are you going to find her house? You don't know how to get ahold of her' Her: 'Well, we could ask someone...' To make a long story short, we stopped at the post office, and asked the first person who came out. 'Yeah, sure, I know your friend. The house is just around the corner.' Amazing. TFTC!

Mike's Memorial Cache

A quick stop along our way between Tonopah and Cedar City. Thanks for the chance to stretch our legs!

OCHT

By: imapackrat Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Pretty view from the cache site. I hiked in from the hiway since the road looked a little dicey for the minivan. Our last cache before passing into UT. Thanks.

E.T. Highway Cache

By: Dr. of Rockology Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

We skipped the rest, but you just have to stop for a regular sized cache! Mighty quiet out here. We loved it! Thanks.

Watch out for Trolls!

By: veedub6 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Caching our way between Fish Lake and Joes Valley. Beautiful country! Thanks for getting us out on this lonely road.

Point Reflection

By: Wild Will Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

What a wonderful view point! We stayed for quite awhile watching the hundreds of pelicans that were in the water. Very cool. Once we started searching for the cache, we came up first with the gallon plastic jar, and then the matchstick container gr8jpn refers to. Someone must have missed finding the original container at some point and dropped a courtesy replacement. We put the little cache in with the big one. Maybe someone can take it for another cache. Thanks!

Panorama Land Cache

By: Stash-N-Cache Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

This was an amazing spot. What a view! Quite a contrast between what lies ahead and what we came from. We were suprised to find dozens of cactuses growing nearby. TFTC.

Elderberry @ Fish Lake

By: GR8GPN Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

On vaction from California, and tenting at Mackinaw GC for a couple days. After lunch at the lodge, I suggested a stroll by the water. What's this??? A log with just STF entered! Amazing, an FTF, and our first out of state! Woot! Fish Lake was amazing and we'll definitely come back another time. Sorry for the late log, and TFTC!

Fun For Kids 3!

By: brentr Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

What a great view of the lake and marina! On the way up, we were a bit too impatient, and ended up bushwhacking straight up the hill. Whew! They boys were complaining a bit on the climb, but after getting a chance to explore and scramble around on the rocks were all smiles. On the way back, we took the logical path along the trail. TFTC.

By: mooseman70 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Still heading towards Fish Lake, and picking up caches along the way. A convoy of classic cars passed while we were signing the log. Most were flying stars and stripes: very patriotic! TFTC.
