Safe Diligence: In my haste, I was attracted to another more conventional hiding place. After ruling it out, the GPSr had caught up with me, and was indicating the true location. Afterwards, I hung around for awhile watching a couple of San Carlos' finest administering a roadside sobriety test. Things weren't going well for the driver. TFTC.

Little Bridge: 2nd try. After a little guidance from the cache owner, I was able to find it. A very nice use of available materials! On both of my visits, there was an accident pulled off the side of the freeway along the way. It makes me wonder how many there are each day. TFTC.

Boy, Am I Ever Hungry!: Obviously no Sunday brunch at this place...deserted. TFTC.

Walk on by: Following geekster again. I really enjoyed the loop back to the start after finding this cache: A nice dirt trail back to the park, then another paved trail back to the car. Thanks!

Sugarloaf: I wasn't going to claim a second find, but...(1) the trail I took was 250' up in 0.2 miles; whew! a lung buster! (2) Geekster beat me to the WJTB, so I'm feeling a little grumpy. (3) vaccine said I could. So there. Thanks for a great hike; It wasn't too hot early this morning. Left a TB; took a TB.

Pizza Power: I got around to this cache today since I was too busy trying to be a good host on Friday (something like that!) Thanks! It made the event a lot more fun.

Canadamandu: I made the trek with the boys after swim lessons. I can't say I wasn't warned...but going after this one with two five year-olds in shorts and sandals wasn't one of my better decisions. Thanks for the view. We traded, and made it back to the car without incident.

Sunnyvale's Smallest Park?: I zipped over to this cache between events at my daughters' swim meet over at the high school. Thanks!

Igor: FTF!!! 7:00a A nice hike in the early morning quiet. At the start I had to use my wits a bit since the path I picked to this cache doesn't follow the arrow right away. Still, I think I made a good choice. As I found the cache, the sun peeked (or is it peaked?) over the hill top. Coordinates were spot on. I took the TB, and left the FTF prize to a future finder. Thanks.

Tower of Power: Thanks for another neighborhood cache. I thought it was going to be less than 0.1 mi to my 'Ex-evaporator' cache for sure. It turns out I was wrong; it's 530 feet. That's cutting it pretty close! In any case, no mountain lions here; not even an angry goose.

Costaños Cañon: FTF!!! 12pm Thanks for showing me this hidden park! and for the additional help since my GPSr lost lock about 30 feet from the car...(hrumph...I paid a lot of money for that dang thing.) I was expecting to see a canon, but instead it was a cañon. FWIW, to get the tilde above the letter, hold down ALT key and type '164'! TFTC.

Our Lady of the River: We got distracted by the creek, and spent a long time playing at the waterside. The kids caught a toad, and had a ball playing on the natural bridge. Eventually we turned our attention to the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this cool and shady spot on a warm 4th of July!

Great Reception: Thanks for the July 4th diversion. Great view!

Major Inconvenience: With a little prompting from the cache owner, we were able to come up a solution that made sense. BookieBear and SingR&DancR signed the log too, although they didn't have too much to do with solving the puzzle. Since there were about a dozen earwigs living in the crevices on the underside of the cache container, we traded a rubber cockroach for the steel penny.

Where's the Map: FTF!!!7:30p I solved this puzzle right away, but told myself that I'd wait until a workday lunch to find it since I'd be quite a bit closer. Yeah, right! After watching it go unfound for nearly two days, I couldn't take it any more, and off I went. A fun puzzle, a great hike, and a panoramic view. What more could I want? Thanks! T: GC keychain compass; L: Unregistered 2005 USA geocoin. It's my first FTF on a puzzle cache! Yippeeee!!!

Hastings Tot Lot: 2TF @ 7:55am. The fog this morning gave the canyon a peaceful stillness that I really enjoyed. The green hippo lawn ornament up by the playground really cracked me up. I left a WJTB, and signed the log. Thanks!

Kid Cache: FTF!!! 5:45p Thanks for bringing me back to this park. There used to be a cache over on the north side, and I remember it well because I got my first really bad case of PO while searching for it . Fortunately there's nothing to worry about around this one. Under cover of the trees, the GPSr signal was a bit touchy, but I perservered and made the find. What a well stocked container. I was pleased to notice that you have quite a few assistant cache-keepers ScienceBean. That's cool! Thanks for placing a great cache, and welcome to Geocaching!

Gazebo: FTF!!!@6:40p Ahhh...the feel of a blank log sheet beneath my pen... I approached this search systematically, and only after finding the cache did I look at the clue. Frankly, I think you guys are being a little hard on Mr. Fishdude, although true to his devious nature, he has done nothing to stop you from tripping over your own assumptions. Alas, I'm afraid I've said too much. Thanks for the fun and the rubber fish.

Venor Infernus Sempervirons: Thanks for a great event. Good food, converstation and company. The kids loved the dueling trebuchets! Thanks!

Sag Ponds of the San Andreas: We detoured from our journey to the Roaring Camp picnic event to find this cache. It was a beautiful place to hike on a pleasantly cool and windy day. The kids enjoyed exploring the trail, but were a bit underwhelmed when we actually found the 'pond'. TFTC.

Bridge Mind Bender: Not too tricky. We were sorely tempted to go for a swim like a bunch of other folks were doing. Unfortunately, we didn't have our swim suits. The train arrived while we were closeby. Cool. TFTC.

JCF: Wonderful stroll through the redwoods. You'd think that docent would have been curious after awhile. TFTC.

Duck, Duck, Goose: Our timing on this one made it an unassisted search. Maggie (8) made the grab for the group. TFTC.

Jane Doe: Just like its brother cache, we found this one with a group of about 20. I waited 5 minutes to sign the log book. The kids pawed over the swag, and approximately 50% of our goodie bag was swapped out. Good times! Thanks.

Deer John: A little after the event adventure. That WJTB the Saints gave us ended up here. Thanks! It really should stay in the immediate area for a while. The kids had loads of fun tracking this one down, lots of trading occurred. A perfect family cache. Thanks!

Toyon Bench: Back for a 2nd swing through the park: #1 on my loop. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful. Thanks.

Toyon High Side: Back for a second swing through the park: #2 on my loop. I found it pretty quickly. Thanks.

Along the Toyon Trail: #3 on my loop through the park for a second time. Warm sun and cool breezes made my visit really pleasant. Thanks.

Sanchez Lagoon #2: 3TF at 8am. Tide was out. I could have walked the 0.13 mi to #1...NOT! TFTC.
