7th Inning Stretch

By: BigTtrekkers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

A great park, and it's good to see another cache here. As expected, we found the cache with the crack of the bat echoing in our ears. Very appropriate. TFTC.

Just Outside Burton Park

Whew! The camouflage had me going for quite awhile. Thanks for placing a cache in this great park. I think it's going to last!

Moonman #2 Revisited

By: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

Out with the boys after baseball practice. Nice clear windswept views, and a cache that made us laugh...after we spotted it. Doh! TFTC.

POP #10

By: jimbexleyspeed Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

[8D]FTF[8D] 8:10a I saw this last night and knew what to do pretty quickly. Hey, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and awhile! This morning when it still wasn't found, I stopped by on the way to a baseball game. I liked the camouflage. BTW, tit-for-tat on puzzle cache FTFs! Thanks!

1st State Park

By: Kealia & Hula Bum Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

My old, tired GPSr was wheezing pretty badly, but eventually we made the find. Interesting marker. I'm so glad they had the foresight to save the trees! TFTC.

County Line - Santa Cruz

By: TRAKD (w/ 50sumtin) Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

My first county line cache with more to come I'm certain. It was fun to learn a little history, and then make a find in a pretty spot. TFTC.

I was out with atc for a little hiking and caching in Big Basin. We stopped for this one since it was on the way to a puzzle I'd solved. Thanks!

Well Rounded Cacher (The Fizzy Challenge)

By: Kealia Difficulty: 5.0 Terrain: 5.0 Container: Regular

After many months of chasing down the last of the high difficulty / terrain combinations, atc and I finally made the trek to Buzzard's Roost this afternoon. The sun was warm, but with a light breeze, it was a perfect day for hiking. Lots of other people thought so too, as we shared the top with a couple of other groups and passed 3 or 4 others coming and going. We rescued 8 TBs from the cache, leaving 2 our own in trade. I think there are 9 listed on the cache page, so it appears that one is missin g. Several muggle groups have found the cache and signed the log. Perhaps someone took one not knowing what it was? I suppose that will become clearer when atc and I get them logged out. When we found the cache it was pretty exposed, so we tried to hide it better by covering it with a few rocks and branches. Completion of this challenge created many lasting memories for me, but the best by far was the 3000+ mile trip to Moab with airsax and bthomas. We found the 7 matrix caches I needed to finish it off. On the way back down the mountain, atc and I discussed which challenge to work on next. For my part, I am definitely addicted. Thanks for providing a way to feed the obsession and thanks for a memorable challenge cache. TFTCC!
