We enjoyed the bit of dirt on the way to this cache. Sorry to be leaving the Mendocino coast after a fun weekend of caching and exploring; it's been a blast! The widget was pointing us about 200' into the trees, but we knew that probably wasn't right, and walked right up to the cache in a very 'geo-logical' spot. Interesting how the forest has recovered since clear-cutting. Thanks!

Last day of our trip to the Mendocino coast. A bit chilly and damp this morning, but plenty of people out on the jetty. We spent some time watching a trio of characters get into their snorkling gear and then into the water. It seemed they were a bit cold! Thanks for pointing out this harbor entrance!

A very cool place that I happened across only because of geocaching! I love those discoveries! As we were approaching, a wedding party was just finishing up the ceremony and moving on to the reception. A very memorable spot! Thanks.
