Sorry for the very tardy log. I was caching around Pacifica with CKayaks, DuckeyLee, Bear Territory. With a negative tide during daylight hours, our ultimate objective was San Pedro Point for 5/5 Mission Impossible. bthomas joined us here, and we had the pleasure of running into NavySparks&theMrs. TFTC! mjp303

Sorry for the very tardy log. I was caching around Pacifica with CKayaks, DuckeyLee, Bear Territory. With a negative tide during daylight hours, our ultimate objective was San Pedro Point for 5/5 Mission Impossible. For it's size, this cache was well hidden. I ended up not seeing a bunch of poison oak as I reached for it, but fortunately had on long sleeves. Thanks for a fun puzzle and hunt. mjp303

Sorry for the very tardy log. I was caching around Pacifica with CKayaks, DuckeyLee, Bear Territory, and bthomas, who gamely tagged along for a second visit. With a negative tide during daylight hours, our ultimate objective was San Pedro Point for 5/5 Mission Impossible. We were well on our way when we found this route marker! Rock hopping along the beach was definitely strenuous! It's interesting that my neck and arms were just as stiff the following day as my legs were. Thanks for placing caches in such a beautiful and interesting place! mjp303

Sorry for the incredibly tardy log. The others in the group have pretty much said it all: awesome hike, beautiful location, interesting geology, hazards to cross (I was the only one to fall in the water, BTW!), and great company. I don't think anybody in the group has mentioned the crazy botany professor who climbed up the cliff ABOVE the cache to look at some rare plant that clings to life in this harsh environment. I thought for sure he was going to notice the cache, or at least ask one of us why we were congregating in that particular location. I think he pretty much climbed right over the cache to get where he was going. Heh! Fun times. This adventurous trek really pushed my limits! The HUGE carnitas burrito at the Mexican restaurant afterwards was a well earned treat. TFTC! mjp303
