Terrain: I was visiting Bend for work at a company called Agere Pharmaceuticals. My hosts mentioned Pilot Butte and some of the history. I figured there was a cache at the top, and I was right! Quite breezy with scattered showers, and I could see that it was snowing up on Mt. Bachelor. Thanks for showing me the incredible views! mjp303
