Leaning Towers Of... Arizona by bennetSize:

A gorgeous winter day with absolutely no wind at all. Very interesting to contemplate the natural forces that have shaped this area. Lovely view and plenty of others out and about doing the same. Thanks for the EC and for guiding today's adventure! mjp303

We're visiting Tucson from the San Francisco Bay area, and decided to hike Ventana Canyon since it's close to where we're staying. The Saguaro cactus are really great! Thanks for a nice big cache along a beautiful trail. Very different from the mountains back home. We were suprised to find nice little creek not much further up from the cache, and met some very friendly hikers along the way. TFTC. mjp303

Visiting Tucson for a weekend getaway from the SF bay area, and Ventana Canyon was our first hike sice we were staying nearby. What a beautiful place! I love the desert here. I'm sorry to report that someone had a 'bathroom emergency' (can I call it that if the scene of the crime includes TP?!?) about 2 feet from the hiding spot. Bummer. Thanks for a great old cache though. mjp303

A get-away weekend in Tucson, and we decided that a drive up Mt. Lemmon would be a fun way to spend the afternoon. What an awesome viewpoint! Thanks for teaching us a little more about the area too! mjp303

Visiting Mt. Lemmon from CA. A family was sledding accross the way, but they paid no attention to my wandering around in the prickly bushes. Good cache camouflage! Fortunately some of it was cracked off of the lid and I was able to spot the unnatural color. TFTC. mjp303

Lots of fun, and I learned a lot! Arizona is a beautiful state. Very different from back home in the San Francisco Bay area. Thanks. mjp303
