Monster Mountain: What a lot of fun! Parked within about 0.2 mi, but that was what seemed to be vertical distance, not horizontal. I followed the trail as far as I could, and then set out along the ridge line. Pretty quickly a little path developed among the flowers, and a spectacular view unfolded to both the north and the south! Fantastic! Thanks!
