Our group definitely considered itself 'lucky' to have made a find on this evil cache. What a strange spot though. I guess the potential for quite a bit of water exists here, but at the season all we saw were weeds.

I've never seen a blinker without a magnet, but that's what I found in the dirt. I put it back in a rather precarious perch, but it was the best I could do. While we were struggling with the log, bthomas looked through the window of the cafe and noticed a bill dated from 2005. Tough times around here...TFTC.

Yup, I'm obsessed. BTW, this cache better be in page 50 'cuz otherwise I'll be back for another, which is certifiably nuts. I'm glad we came at the end of the summer though. Autorouting is usually pretty dicy for cache locations like this since it makes no distinctions between the maintained and not-so-maintained forest roads. No matter, we enjoyed a few bumps and brushes in the jeep. This was the first of many historic trails markers along our route. The bonus was that this one had a cache nearby. Thanks!
