Bart: Millbrae Station: Not as deserted as I would have liked...this section of the lot appears to be a waiting place for carpoolers, taxis, and limos. I used the car as a shield. TFTC.

Cars and Carrots: I could swear I've found this cache before. I must have forgotten to log it. hmmmm. Well, it's done now.
Doubles Anyone?: A rainy day makes for no play...if you're a tennis player that is. TFTC.
Hanging Out in Las Palmas: I spent a good deal of time with my back to the cache. When I finally turned around, voila! Great container. TFTC.
Mary Washington Cache: Despite the rain, this one was still tough to dodge the muggles. Nice decoy hide! TFTC.

Thrive: I interrupted Kindergarten Teacher as she was making the find. After flashing my GPSr, we unloaded the cache and signed the log together. Nice to meet you, KT! TFTC.
Bart: South San Fransico Station: I enjoyed the view. Plenty of cars all around, but no one sight, so a quick grab. TFTC.
Bart: San Bruno Station: Plenty of hiding places on this cache. Fortunately, the hide wasn't too evil. I happened to arrive just as a trainful of harried communters were hopping into their cars and racing towards home. Ever seen 20 cars zip past you in a parking garage at about 40mph? I didn't insist on taking my turn. TFTC.

Shoreline Trailhead: I hopped out of the car, and noticed OneAngryPuppy. We chatted for a while, and then I strolled over to the cache area. I eyeballed it, but decided to wait until later since there were a few muggles around. At the end of my hike, things were quiet and I was able to record my find in peace. TFTC.
Birders: Quick find. TFTC.

Runners: I watched a pheasant scratch around in the brush close to this cache. What a beautiful bird! TFTC.
Pinheads: No ducks in sight, just an occasional jogger. A brief squall blew through while I was on the trail and I got soaked. TFTC.
Charleston Slough: Out this afternoon to find the others along this trail. Stopped to chat with Geekster and Tavahi, who suggested I walk along the trail a little further. Thanks guys! My first pre-approval find, but only third on the log. TFTC.

Ask Your Kids #2: Whew! That's not a game, it's a way of life! I enjoyed the cache location; it was a place quite close to home that I had not noticed before. TFTC.
How Old is Mrs. Gooby?: Recent experience with a Su DoKu puzzle gave me enough confidence to attempt this one. An eraser and a couple of broken pencils later, I had the answer. Thanks!

Four Windows: Emailed the owner with the answer...somehow I'm thinking I won't get a response before it's too late so I am logging it now. My first, last, and only armchair cache. Thanks for the icon.
What's in a hut?: A quadruple quonset hut in San Carlos, CA. It is used by three businesses: An auto body repair shop, a printing company, and a restaurant supply business. BTW, there are dozens of quonset huts in the area north of Whipple and south of Ralston between 101 and El Camino.

Ancient Russian Trailhead: I found myself with a little time to kill before meeting up with a friend to hike down in Portola Redwoods SP. This cache was conveniently placed. Howling winds and stinging rain today. No fun.
The Summit: Our objective was to hike up the Slate Creek trail, and even though we were determined to have a good time, the weather wasn't cooperating. Man was it ever wet and windy. So we cut our hike short, and looped around on the Summit trail. Still, a miserable day hiking beats a good day doing plenty of other stuff. TFTC.
Below the Summit: A quick find on our way back to the car, beaten into submission by Old Man Winter. Thanks!

Alice's Restaurant: I found it after a short search. Although the skies were clearing today, recent storms had done their work, as the log was soaked. I carefully opened it up and spread it out, but it was too wet to sign. After all of this, I looked up and realized that a couple was eating their lunch directly across from me. Fortunately they were oblivious: her with a book, him hunkered down over a bowl of soup. If he'd gotten his mouth any closer to that bowl, the spoon wouldn't have been necessary. TFTC.
Coyote's Corner: Pretty wet and windy today. Chatted a bit with the same fellow OGBO met and photographed a few weeks ago. Funny how he seemed to expect me to follow him, and then looked disappointed when I eventually turned back. Plenty of evidence of coyotes: every few feet along the trail I'd see the ground squirrel burrows dug up and fresh dirt scattered about. First of several in a nice looping trail. TFTC.
Russian Runoff: More like Russian cascade or Russian Torrent today. I loved the sound of water tumbling rapidly down the hill. TFTC.
Ancient Oaks: I found this cache on a cold, windy, and rainy day. Beautiful trees! TFTC.
The Fabulous Furry Fir: Beautiful trees and a wonderful area. TFTC.
Bobwire Bobcat: Quick find while climbing the ridgeline. After climbing out of the trees, I followed a trail into the fog. Suddenly, it sounded like an airplane was bearing down on me. It must have been quite a ways above, but without the benefit of sight it seemed like a crash was coming for sure. Scary!
Eddie the 1st Returns: Nice hike; great view. TFTC.
Skyline Ridge View: Nice loop. I saw several spots for more caches, and am marking them down on the to do list! Thanks!
SROSP Trailhead cache: The cache container nearly burned a hole in my retinas...after I finally oriented myself in the right direction. That took 10 minutes. TFTC.

Meet at the Crossroads: I've seen a similar hide up further north. Slipped my find between a guy just finishing lunch and a guy pulling up with an overheated engine. TFTC.
PMAX - Page Mill Animal Exchange: I've been by quite a few times, but never stopped. The views under clearing skies were great...then I dove down to business. TFTC.

Middle of the Street: I'll bet the cache gets more visitors than the payphone. TFTC.

Silas started it all: 18 hours from Seattle to Los Angeles?!? Flight attendants with nursing degrees!?! Air travel has come a long way, baby. Thanks for the facts and the stroll.
Quest for the Masks: Le-Wahi: Strolled up and was looking in the wrong spot when I heard a hoarse voice shouting, 'It's in the [redacted].' So I chatted for a while with WalruZ and BuckyDef. Geobaby was there too. After that, I found the cache right where WalruZ told me it was. Duh, how did I miss that? TFTC.
Quest for the Masks: Po-Wahi: I felt like someone was watching me from the windows, but resisted the urge to stick my tongue out at them. Collected a TB. TFTC.
Quest for the Masks: Thanks for a very enjoyable series! It was great to re-walk the RWS levee trails and get rewarded with smilies for it. I have to confess that I knew where the final cache was hidden and snagged it before finishing off the rest of the series. Call it home cooking. Great job!

Quest for the Masks: Ko-Wahi: Nice to find caches on foot for a change. #1 on our tour. My daughter was quite embarrassed when one of her friends walked by: 'Dad, what will I say to explain why we're in the bushes?' My reply: 'Just crouch down, she won't see you!' She didn't. Thanks.
Quest for the Masks: Ga-Wahi: #2 on our quest. Along the way we enjoyed taking a close look at the new lagoon water suppy access gates, and the wading birds poking around at a low, low tide. TFTC.
Quest for the Masks: Ta-Wahi: #3 on our trek. I left the kids at the playground while making the find. Oh, they did come over for a peek in the container after I found it. Thanks.

Embarcadero Bug Depot: Fun little trek, nicely hidden. The rain was washing off the trees in tea colored drops, which caused some commotion among the little guys, since they assumed it was something else. We swapped TBs. Thanks.
Needless Mark-up: Quite busy, but we managed. In any case, everybody seemed pretty intent on their own objectives. TFTC.
Cornelis Bol Park Booty: Deserted on a rainy afternoon; That's a bold hide! The boys enjoyed climbing the nearby tree. Thanks.

The Five Senses: HEARING: FTF! 8:30am It took a bit of searching on a completely still morning, but I finally found the well concealed cache. I'm sorry to admit it, but shaking branches and bumping into things did me no good as the find was made entirely with visual clues. I did experience the 'Freeway Trees' however. That's very interesting actually. Thanks for a fun hunt! I took the TB, but left the gift card.

Off The Leash - A Kid's Cache: So that's what those signs are for! T: wipe, since I poked around in a different spot with grey leafless branches that were probably PO. L: a christmas geocoin. Thanks (unless I get a rash)!
Woodside Hills Cache: 2TF Whew! Tough access. I got within 0.15 mi from the north, but I figure the neighbors wouldn't have appreciated me walking through their yard. So, after taking a very long detour around to the south, and getting lost several times in a maze of long, winding dead end streets, I knew I was close when I saw the distinctive fence mentioned in the FTF log. Finally! Nice view, and nice little walk. TNLNSL. Thanks!
For the Love of the Game: 6:00pm Co-FTF with UncleTom. I knew this one would go fast, and sure enough, somebody was tailing me as I pulled into the parking lot. We double-timed it over to the cache site, and then fumbled around for a few minutes. Ahhh, there it is. Thanks!

Baylands, Then and Now: I dropped my daughter off at choir practice and then realized my GPSr was still at home . Fortunately I remembered enough from reading the cache page to make a find. The attachment device is indeed separated from the cache, which I found on the ground. However, by placing the attachment device inside the container, I was able to return it to the intended spot.
Ravenswood Trail: Inspired by MotorBug and Digitalfish, I found this cache without a GPSr. (Actually I just forgot it at home.) I felt fortunate to find a 'wild' geocoin, which will bring christmas cheer to another cache quite soon. Thanks!

"Da Plane, DaPlane": Wow! Lotsa traffic for the first day! I've driven by many times by never stopped until now. Funny how a cache will do that! Thanks.
Lizard Chick's Espresso Society Cache: Pleasant morning hunt with Uncle Tom. Waypoints 1 & 2 went lickity split, but we circled the block before finding #3. With the final coordinates in hand, we decided to walk to the cache instead of returning to our cars. That turned out to be a good decision, and also gave us time for a nice chat. It took a bit of work to find the final, but that's only because we couldn't see what was right in front of our eyes. TNLNSL. Thanks for the tour of downtown San Mateo!

Nar of Nat: Thanks for placing a new cache at this spot! If I remember correctly, prior to renovation there was one velcro'd underneath a plaque by the statue, and hidden by overgrown bushes. My final coordinates were off a bit, but got me close enough that the hide was clear. Sorry I didn't have a little zip-lock with me, or else I would have taken care of the moisture problem for you. As it stands, the log is starting to dry out, and you should be able to continue to use it. TFTC!
