Black Rock Tribute to BajaRichie by Baad Daata

This was a cool spot with a really great view. Our first cache find on a very long day chasing DeLorme pages on dirt roads. We eventually found the ammo can, but were initially confused after finding a plastic bag containing a variety of toys about 20' away. On the way back, we added a few rocks to the memorial marker. A Beach in the Desert by NOSRocks

Out chasing DeLorme pages with my boys. After getting out on the playa, I gave each of them a turn driving. They were thrilled, and it was about as safe as it was going to get out there! Thanks for teaching us about this interesting place. Thanks, mjp303.

Muddy Waters by RaftingMama

After many miles of bone jarring washboards, it was a blessed relief to stop here and stretch the legs. I hope I haven't shaken my poor Jeep apart! Thanks for the incentive to get out and explore Nevada's wide open spaces. Grabbed the CKayaks coin. TFTC! mjp303

Bump, bump bump! Nearly rattled my teeth out on those washboards exploring DeLorme page 19! Thanks for the cache along the way. mjp303

Just Outside the Sheldon by Me & Bucky

Whew! I sure was glad to finally reach those smooth graded roads on the Indian reservation. First 50 miles of washboards to get to Soldier Meadows ranch, then, out of the canyon on a steep and rocky road. I thought it would never end. heh! We did see a few pronghorn antelope. What a great day. TFTC! mjp303

Wild Three-Way by Me & Bucky
Size: (micro) Difficulty: Terrain:
Bleached from sun, but still good as new after a very long time since the last find. It sort of poked me in the eye if you know what I mean! BTW, do you pronounce it DEN-i-o? Or de-NI-o? Funny the things you wonder about when you have the time to think! TFTC. mjp303

Leonard Creek Road by Me & Bucky

We made the loop from Gerlach today. What an adventure! Great views all around. TFTC. mjp303

Rest stop with bathroom by RRGEO.
Size: (micro) Difficulty: Terrain:
After circling around from Gerlach on dirt roads, we had a very late lunch here (dinner really!) 3 or 4 cars passed by during the 15 or so minutes we stopped. More than we had seen all day! TFTC. mjp303

Thanks Tesla by Brush Beaters

DNF'd the gate cache near the road, so we continued on for this cache. Drove pretty close, but still ended up with a bunch of stickers in our socks! TFTC. mjp303

breadcrumbs # 16....rubbish by Two Tracks

Passing by on our way to Winnemucca, so it was pretty much required that we stop and mark the junction. TFTC! mjp303
