What an adventure! As I write this log, muscles I'd forgotten I have are crying out in protest. Numb feet have thawed, but they are still a bit bruised and tender. What a strange sensation to experience frozen feet while sweat dripped from my brow; to lose are sense of time and distance while concentrating intensely on ever-changing shapes and shadows in the small illuminated circle at my feet; to pass through a world of cold and black and emerge on the other side to sweet warmth and intense color. Thanks for providing the incentive to go where few others have been and to see the world in a unique way.

I've never been to Old Town Sacramento before. Very interesting! This was just a quick visit, but I'll definitely have to come back to see and learn more. Thanks!
