The Ghost Town of Bodie

The first day of our vacation, and on our way from the Bay Area to Bodie via Tioga Pass. What beautiful views all along the way! TFTC.

Downtown Benton

Lots of little ups and downs along Hwy 120! The kids got a kick out of that. I loved watching the sunset on the mountains. Benton is a lovely place! TFTC.

No Gambling Here Any More

A quick find, and then we spent some time exploring the ruins. The ransacked motel rooms were creepy! As we were finishing up, the dogs at the nearby houses (occupied, and behind a fence) started barking wildly. We stood in amazement as a dozen wild horses galloped by not 50 yards from where we stood. Very cool! TFTC.
