Venturing over from 'Two Tunnels', we were hopeful that the recent rains had pushed a cut through the beach sand and drained that pool at the entrance. Alas, it was not to be, and so already wet, we took the plunge. Fortunately it was only deep for a few feet. Darker and with a rockier surface underneath the water, this trek was a bit spookier. Thanks for the fun, and for the cache to reward us at the end.

Great fun in a big group! We introduced friends to caching with this little adventure and had the good fortune of meeting up with some old ones for the hunt. Having been here once before when the waves were too intense, we knew that timing counted for a lot. The tides were favorable, but unfortunately the sun refused to cooperate. Recent rains had scoured things out though and we really enjoyed the wading! There were lots of people looking for colored glass along the beach. Evidently there used to be a glassblowing factory upstream. TFTC!
