Critter and Bug Hotel of Moab

By: MoabLegs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

We arrived pretty early: the campers weren't quite ready for company. I enjoyed the pretty box canyon. TNLN. TFTC.

Purple Pond

Plenty of water still, and more of a muddy pink at this point. Impressive nontheless. I wonder what causes it? TFTC.

Look Where I am #1

Gassing up before a long stretch of off-road. Ouch, that hurts! Thanks for the distraction.

Kids cache

A quick stop as darkness fell. As we were driving back to the highway (too fast, I might add) I slalomed through a herd of cattle that was crossing the road. [:O] Close call! TFTC.

An unlikely spot

You'd think that the biggest threats out here would be from nature itself. What a shame.

Moonshine Wash

By: DeViDe and Bob Rich Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 5.0 Container: Virtual

A great trek with bthomas. A bit frustrating that we couldn't unravel the approach more quickly, but all was quickly forgotten after we got underway on foot. I honestly expected a BLM sign saying 'Moonshine wash this way'! Silly me. At some point, I knew we weren't going to leave without a find, no matter how long it took. This country is just so rough and remote! Thanks for a fun challenge and opportunity to experience it up close and personally.

Fat Man's Misery

By: Heidi, Jared, Autin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

Hearing bthomas' grunts and groans told me that there was no way I would be able to slip through. Fortunately there was another possibility. What a fun cache and a great view. We could see the campfires of the folks down below. Thanks.
