Mines Scout Camp

I think several of us overlooked the spot before Shores Scout made the find. The gate was open, so I was tempted to drive up the road and check things out, but there were more caches to be found! That dirt road on the other side of the gate was calling to me, but alas it was not to be. I did notice a no trespassing, "except for members" sign on a tree nearby, so perhaps we could have travelled the road for a price. TFTC.

He was yucking it up with bthomas in the lead and drove right by the cache. I brought them out of orbit with a quick call on the FRS radio. The cache seemed painfully exposed, but I suppose it really doesn't matter out here. Thanks!

We got worried when we saw the tell-tale pieces of soiled TP scattered about on approach. Yup, some serious fertilzation going on in there. We moved the cache slightly so that future finders won't have to enter the 'drop zone'. Heh!

I did all of the math in my head, and MotorBug and Shores Scout were having trouble following me. Fortunately, things turned out just fine. I knew they would though, since bthomas was patiently waiting for us to fumble though. Interesting story!
