A Rascal Ant

By: soupercamp Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

1 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. It was still quiet early on a holiday morning, and I got my feet wet walking across the grass. Somebody needs to adjust those irrigation timers! Nicely done on the hide. TFTC.

Bart: Hayward Station

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. With the terror threat level high lately, I told myself I wasn't going to search for this cache. Driving by, though, the coast appeared clear enough so I took a chance. TFTC.

Clean Machines

By: Maverix Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Open for business on this holiday, but still not too busy at the early hour. TFTC.

Earl Warren Cache

By: The Navigator 25 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. The folks walking the track with their dogs probably wondered what I was doing since they passed me twice before I found it. The low terrain rating fooled me, but eventually I saw the light. TFTC.

The Trail to Nowhere . . .

By: archaeor Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

5 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Whew! Short but steep. TFTC.

Rexy's Book Club

By: raptor & rex Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I love a good bookstore, but this one had the good sense to be closed on a holiday. Contrast that with the Taco Bell nearby that I went into to grab a napkin. (Got something on my hands searching for your cache!) The fellow at the register excitedly told someone in the back that the first customer has arrived (in Spanish). I think they were dissapointed that I left without buying anything, but seriously, who'd buy a taquito at 9am in the morning? 'The Book of Three' by Lloyd Alexander is a good book for a kid. TFTC.

The Commens

By: Halbert and the gang Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Great hide! I was so pleased with myself that I found it, I decided to get a Jamba Juice to celebrate. TFTC.

Ivy League - Iron Horse

By: MartianRabbit Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Evil, and tough with all of the coming and going on this holiday morning! I spotted the one part of the disguise you mercifully left uncamouflaged first. TFTC.

Hole 15 Par 3

By: beachbum67 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I enjoyed the view, but had to snicker at the fellow who hit a wicked slice off the tee and had to maintain composure. I gathered he wasn't having a good round. TFTC.

Coyote Crossing

By: beachbum67 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

10 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Took a while, but finally I looked from the right angle. The people exercising their dogs gave me a few sidelong glances, but I knew there was no way they were going to spot the cache! TFTC.

Y look, it's Coyote Crossing

By: beachbum67 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

11 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I had to wait for some kids to clear out, but after that it was a quick find. TFTC.

Sing Your Praises

By: GeoMoosers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I wrote down the number on a scrap of paper that must have gotten thrown away with my lunch trash. Grrr. I'll sing to make this smilie stick...will you send me the number? TFTC.

LoneTree

By: Gramma Bear Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

13 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. The squirrels that live nearby didn't like my visit, and spent the time chirping defiantly at me from the safety of their hole. A couple of bicyclists rode by while I was signing the log, and one asked if I was okay. The other said of course he's okay, he's got a car. (?!?)

Tassajara Quad #1

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

14 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I suppose that if anyone was actually watching what that security camera records, this cache wouldn't have lasted this long. Strangely odd out here. I like it. TFTC.

Trails Challenge: Morgan Territory

By: Muggle Finder Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

15 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Having come this far from the Peninsula, I had to drive up the road and see what this park was all about. HOT is what it's all about! A nice spot for a cache though. I found the container with the lid off and in plain sight. A muggle had made a comment about taking a Rolex and leaving a diamond ring (...hey, it seems he read the stash note...) Unfortunately I found the Jeep TB tag, but no Jeep. Bummer. TFTC.

The Black Hole

By: WeBeFour Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

16 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. All I could think about while crossing the last few feet to the cache was SNAKES. I must confess that I let my imagination get the best of me. Whew! Glad that's over. TFTC.

Concannon Fodder

By: Green Achers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

17 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I had trouble figuring out where to park, but once I did, it was a quick find. Nice twist on a classic hide. TFTC.

Kooper's Kaper 2, the sequel

By: Bear n Grin it Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

19 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Quick find in a strange spot. A group of kids were stopped under the freeway talking excitedly on their cell phones. Then they peeled out and raced off up the dead-end road. Whoops, false start. Two minutes later they blew my door off coming back the other way. TFTC.

Koopman Tree

By: clubjackie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

20 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Who was Koopman? Inquiring minds want to know. TFTC.

Got Plants?

By: jellis50 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

21 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. Yes, I've got plants. Well, plant parts. Prickly ones. In my socks. TFTC.

Trees For The Future

By: DavidT21 & Fisherwoman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

22 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. What trees? I mean there were trees around, but the sign says something about how the ones that they planted were supposed to be protected with a chicken-wire fence. I looked carefully, but didn't see nuttin' like that around here. Something doesn't add up! TFTC.

Just Calaveras

By: Dynamic Duet Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

23 of 23. Out for an East-bay cache run to pick up a few more quadrangles. I agree this is a road that is begging to be travelled! Thanks for luring me there. TFTC.
