Farewell CA Cache: We found this cache on a family outing to Skyline Ridge OSP. It was pretty hot right next to the lake with the sun beating down, but we spent quite a while exploring after finding the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this picturesque spot.
Born Free: We found this cache with a group of six, a couple of which are about the same age as this cache. It was fun to look through years worth of logs: kinda like a time capsule. We noticed a lottery ticket from 2002 and a ticket to a play back in 2003. The kids traded and we lingered at the spot to have a snack and a drink of water. It was a very pleasant trail on a hot and sunny day. Thanks.
End of the Trail 2: Lambert Creek: I left the rest of the crew up by the lake to go get this cache by myself. Pretty glad I did, too, since the shorter legs never would have made it back out of that canyon. In spite of the steepness of the trail, I really enjoyed the quiet seclusion. Jaklyn and I parted ways: a little incentive to the next visitor. Thanks!
